Hello friends,
I often see developers approaching retirement who stop exploring new things — as if that time had passed. But nothing will stay as exciting as programming.
Yes, the desktop world has its limits. But once you step into the web, you’re suddenly playing on the big field. AI gives us speed and ideas we never had before. And it’s simply fun to build things.
Even if you’re no longer fully involved professionally, there is more to program today than ever before: home automation, robotics, web tools, galleries, microservices… everything is possible. And with Cloudflare, anyone can run their own server — practically for free.
So don’t give up your passion. The possibilities are huge, and programming keeps the mind sharp. Why look for a new hobby when the best one is already in our hands?
Programmers stay young — because we always have something new to build.
Warm regards,
Otto
