Principle 1: Distribution First
Traditionally, the focus was on building a great product first, then figuring out how to reach customers. But today, the game has changed.
You must assume that someone else is already working on a similar idea. That’s why distribution—your ability to access and engage your target audience—is critical.
Here’s my advice: Choose a niche you already understand.
If you’re already part of that community:

You know their pain points.
You understand their needs.
You know where they spend their time.
You know how to connect with them.

That is your competitive advantage. Big corporations or outsiders don’t have this insight.

Principle 2: Know When to Stop Building
This is a common challenge for entrepreneurs.
There’s always a temptation to add more:

More features.
More complexity.
More "just one more thing."

In the past, limited resources or high costs naturally forced discipline. But now, with tools and resources more accessible than ever, you have to set the limits.
Define your scope:

"This is my minimal viable solution. This is what proves I can solve the problem."
This discipline is what separates successful projects from endless tinkering.
