Be careful, this API-Function dos only work till Windows Vista, it does not work anymore with Windows 7 and above.

From the Msdn docs:
Requirements

Minimum supported client
Windows XP

Minimum supported server
Windows Server 2003

End of client support
Windows Vista

End of server support
Windows Server 2008
kind regards
