FWH 17.09 Incremental Search

FWH 17.09 Incremental Search

Postby TimStone » Wed Oct 04, 2017 9:07 pm

Using 17.09, the incremental search in tBrowse is no longer working.
It had been working fine through 17.06, and is a feature widely used throughout my programs. Now it is not working.

To help, I had to use database.prg with the 17.07 libraries so my program would not malfunction. I tried the pure 17.09 without the older database.prg and the problems occurring previously with mysterious file closings had stopped. However, now the incremental search for browse no longer works. I did a comparison and the few changes to xbrowse do not explain the program. SO I LINKED IN THE OLD 17.06 database.prg and the incremental search works again.

Hopefully we will see a quick fix to this since a year ago I had to rewrite every browse call throughout my application ( it's pretty huge ) because the format had changed, and it was then working perfectly.

Feel free to send me the libs ( FWH - Microsoft / Harbour and xHarbour [.com] ) for testing, or the modified .prg's that I could link in.
You have the email address.
