I have some more questions:

Is it possible to compile files with long filenames.
Is it possible to compile files which are not inside the sample folder.
For these situations I always have to make a project but it would be good if
we could compile prg-files inside any folder and also with long filenames.

Thanks in advance
Otto

I do not know if I understood yours questions well
Are you talking about performing the compilation with your own compilation tool such as ---> BUILD.BAT MIFILENAME LONG
I use for my tests PRG files in other folders, not only folder samples and run OK
Please, explain me, if you talks about using external compilation tools or using the Fivedit compilation ?

thank you.
I only have results but no Folder for Errors/warnings.
Thanks in advance
Otto

For me run OK
Please look this image: I obtain warnings, and errors of compilation and if you obtain errors of execution, also
Ah!, this sample is with a file in other folder, not folder samples: please see

For this sample I use this configuration, with external tool

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=29991&start=285#p205020

Hello to all,

Cristobal showed us here in Sillian how to operate FIVEDIT.
I was very impressed.

Some days ago Cristobal helped me through TeamViewer to install FIVEDIT and to
set up FIVEDIT. Cristobal also helped me to convert my first project from UE
to FIVEDIT.

In my next post I will post a screenshot of the Setup.

I use standard FIVEWIN Installation.

Thank you so much.

Best regards,
Otto

Hello,

To switch editor is not an easy task.
At the moment I work parallel with both editors.
What I did is to configure the look of FIVEDIT as close as possible to my other editor.
So you forget with editor is which.
I am very happy with Fivedit.
Best regards,
Otto

Hello all,

today I found out that we have also
column mode in FIVEDIT.
You start with “Shift” + “Alt” at the left.
Best regards,
Otto

Dear Cristobal,

I have intalled the Fivedit and tried some functionalities.
Can I ask you, if something is not clear to me?

When I can help and you want me to test anything, please let me know.

Kind regards

Dear Cristobal,

I have tried to open a Project.
Where can I see the different PRGs of the Project? Maybe I have selected a wrong view...
At the Moment the view is as if I would open the file with F4...

When I choose "Build an execute" an error occurs --> Fatal: Unable to open file 'XIMPORT.OBJ'

Thank you for your Support

P.S.: The Project is saved at C:\Entwicklung_2012\winhotel\ximport
Maybe I have to add this Information somewhere?

Fivedit is executed here: C:\Cristobal\fivedit.exe

Kind regards
