Problem with oemtoansi

I use hb_OemToAnsi function on Harbour

cNombre:= Str2Lines( hb_OemToAnsi( AllTrim(pr->DESC1) ), " " )


but I have problems with italian words have ì ù à ò è How I can resolve it ?
Since from 1991/1992 ( fw for clipper Rel. 14.4 - Momos)
I use : FiveWin for Harbour November 2023 - January 2024 - Harbour 3.2.0dev (harbour_bcc770_32_20240309) - Bcc7.70 - xMate ver. 1.15.3 - PellesC - mail: silvio[dot]falconi[at]gmail[dot]com

Why do you use oemtoansi() ?
What is the need at all?

Now I use Harbour and not xharbour
and I tried oemtoansi also on harbour and not run here

it write caffP instead of caffè
it write tP instead of tè

Better not to use oemtoansi(). That is history.
We now write programs in ANSI mode and store data in ANSI

Rao ok I'm converting an oldest clipper ( with fw) application ... :)
