Solucionado! :-)

Nos dió la pista necesaria:

            if Upper( ::ClassName() ) $ "TCHECKBOX;TRADIO;TGROUP"
               // DrawPBack( ::hWnd,  hDC )
               ParentImage( ::hWnd, hDC )
               SendMessage( ::oWnd:hWnd, WM_ERASEBKGND, hDC, 0 )
            endif

Aqui está funcionando bien :-)
