Re: To Mr. Ukoenig, two merged jpg files
Hello Francisco J,
there are different solutions to merge 2 Images.
1. second image next to image 1
2. second image merged somewhere inside image 1
I created a tool, to show 2 images adjusted to each other ( sample 1 ).
It works in visual design-mode and is possible, to make a screenshot.
As well I can show a external solution, using PIXELFORMER to place the second image
on any position You need or next to each other saving the result as a new image ( if needed ).
Just tell me, the style You need.
To make it better looking, I would convert ( sample 1 ) the result to PNG and change
the brushed background to TRANSPARENT.

Re: To Mr. Ukoenig, two merged jpg files
Mr. Uwe, Thanks for reply.
I like the option 2.
The following image show us what I want to do.
The background (players) is a JPG file, and the tiger is a JPG file, also.
How can I do the tiger's picture be transparent?
Thanks, again.

Re: To Mr. Ukoenig, two merged jpg files
Hello Francisco J.,
Using solution 2, it is just a logo-display
and can be tested with my logo-editor and creating the needed PRG.
A Logo can have a transparent background ( PNG )
or a CLEAN background-color using a JPG.
The problem : in many cases a JPG-background-color is not clean
and not shown transparent.
I will update this tool, to test a JPG with color-background as well.
For the moment, it supports transparent PNG's
![Image](http://www.pflegeplus.com/IMAGES/Logo2.jpg)
To test the background-color of Your tiger-image, You can use PIXELFORMER using the magic-stick,
or You can send me this image by E-mail and I can clean it up for You cleaning the white area
or better, convert it to a TRANSPARENT PNG :

Hi Francisco
If you do not have many images and does not need high quality (alpha channel), you can use the "transparent selection" feature in MS Paint (yes, the good old MS Paint).
1 - Load the image into MS Paint
2 - Create an empty area on the side of the image. (in "Attributes" increase the width or height)
3 - Paste the new image in the empty area. (the background must be WHITE ("#FFFFFF")
4 - Chose "Transparent Selection"
5 - Select the new image and move it into the old image
6 - Select the desired section and crop it. (Ctrl+Shift+X)
HTH and regards

Pixelformer is a good program .. I also use Gimp ( free open source ) which is as powerful as PhotoShop. I create all my alpha channel bitmaps with Gimp .. Just Open your Picture with Gimp and Open ( layers ) and you can drop any picture you want on your original, resize, crop, etc ...

Re: To Mr. Ukoenig, two merged jpg files
The image is not designed, to change the background to transparent
There is NO clean white background !!!
I had to do some paintings, to get it working.
Here are the results :
( I still can try, to soften the tiger-face-border )
NO shadow
![Image](http://www.pflegeplus.com/IMAGES/Merge4.jpg)
added Shadow
![Image](http://www.pflegeplus.com/IMAGES/Merge5.jpg)
added Double shadow
![Image](http://www.pflegeplus.com/IMAGES/Merge6.jpg)
The result, changing the existing white JPG-background to transparent
![Image](http://www.pflegeplus.com/IMAGES/Merge7.jpg)
my result after some cleaning
![Image](http://www.pflegeplus.com/IMAGES/Merge8.jpg)
soften face-border
title without shadow
The result is sended to the EMail-address !!!
