Reading attachements form an Outlook e-mail

Postby driessen » Fri Mar 01, 2019 1:31 pm

Hello,

I can read e-mails from my application.
I save the message, all the attachements included, into a msg-file.
This file is imported into the system of my application.

So far so good.

Does anyone have an idea how I can read the attachments in the msg-file for saving them one by one?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Integration with Office 365 is so common these days. It looks strange to me that I hardly read any question about how to build such an integration.

Hello,

What I do is this ?

I have made a macro which saves the selected emails into a folder in %USERPROFILE%\DOCUMENTS.

My application is reading all the files, each containing an e-mail, attachements included.
Then the user has to connect every file into a dossier in my application.
Then the application saves the file into a folder of my application.

I can provide you with the source code, but all text is in Dutch,
If you like, I can send you the macro which is used in Outlook.
Please send me your e-mail address.
