Step By Step mod Harbour Language For Beginners With Example

Step By Step mod Harbour Language For Beginners With Example

Postby Otto » Sat Sep 19, 2020 8:45 am

Dear friends,

I am searching for friends who help to work on a tutorial.
Here a short introduction to the project.
The source code is ready in the mod harbour samples but we need a manual for the beginners.
***************************************************************************************************************
Interested in creating your own website?
Ever wondered how cool is it to have a website that has a log-in/log-out functionality? Want to learn how to Create, Read, Update or Delete(CRUD) records in a database?
Have you lost track on your previous tutorials?
Well, we are going to learn how to create one from scratch where in you will know every single details on how the code works.
If you are new to back-end web development, this tutorial is for you.
We will try to learn and clear everything in detail so that later if one uses our tutorial, we won’t have to research some particular methods being used.
***************************************************************************************************************

We won’t be using any frameworks to keep things simple.

Is there someone who is interested and will help to work on it?
Best regards,
Otto

Otto,

Is it possible to create a working sample as a starting point for Mod Harbour.

The idea can be used by more FW-users as a global sample :

A TODO-manager : (As a start up) : A Xbrowse that contains some data like image.
There are many online, but having controle over ower own has much more options.

This sample i have online and i could use it for further development, but it can't be used with phones.
With Mod H it can also be working with phones ? is this correct ?

I thing that the sample has to be not to complex and should not nessesary have to many options. It only should keep my 100 postit's from my desk
The goal is to use it at work and also at home and even with my phone.

What do you think ?

Hello Mark,
a lot has happened this month.
TWeb is a mature product and I think you should check out these examples:
browse-ajax.prg
browse-dblclick.prg
browse-dblclick2.prg
browse-folder.prg
browse-formatter.prg
browse-full.prg
browse-onchange.prg
browse-sort.prg
browse-utf8-cols.prg
brwsearch.prg
brwselect.prg
Have you installed TWeb.
The syntax is the same as with Fivewin.

But you can also look at GENESIS in the mod harbor examples.
Please post your database, then I'll make an example for you.
GENESIS uses HTML and JS and HARBOUR.
