OT: forum

Postby Otto » Wed Sep 01, 2010 9:09 pm

Is the pure performance of the forum a problem of my internet connection or do others notice this as well.
Here when I enter the forum it reloads two and also more times.
The forum hangs on the the facebook.com/plugins/like.php loading.

Best regards,
Otto

Otto and Gunther you two are the only ones having the problem and you are both in the same country. I wonder if you are using the same Internet service provider?

Also, would both of you post your OS and Browser (and version). Maybe one of those is the issue, although if it was, I would expect users from other places to also have problems.

Maybe you have a realtime anti-virus scanning program that scans web pages as they are being loaded?

It is working fine for me here in California. I am using XP Pro and IE 8.

James
