GRASP ALGORITHM FOR KNIFE CUTS

Saludos, hace muchooooo tiempo hice este tema, pero nunca nadie respondio satisfactoriamente, es un proyecto que me propuse y que quiero retomar, si alguien tiene alguna idea o formula como realizado esto, mucho agradeceria la ayuda, para que tengan una idea de que trata es un sistema para CRISTALERIA / CARPINTERIA, aca dejo una reseña del tema:

Many many years ago my father created a program for cutting optimization for reduce scrap.
It is written in Basic for this marvel of technology for the time
