Since using a PICTURE clase when building the xBrowse command eliminates the problem, and it only occurs with the DEFAULT values automatically assigned by the xBrowse ( when no PICTURE is specified ) it would seem reasonable to say the error is caused by code in the xBrowse.prg itself.
