Hi Hua,
Here you can see my xDOCViewer.
If there are new files in the folders, then jpgs are created automatically.

Thumbnails don't really help because you can't see practically anything.

That's why I made this tool.

... y me genera tanto el preview como el PDF. De momento he probado a generar un PDF con 170 facturas (páginas), con distintos modelos (con jpgs de bastante resolución de fondo), y el archivo resultante de más de 32Mb está correcto.

En fin, trataré de averiguar, por curiosidad, cual es el ...

Mr. Rao, you are right! The problem is also on some (but NOT all) JPGs.
An other wish: On class GDIBmp is the handle named "hBmp". On other picture-classes the handle is named "hBitmap". So we cannot use this class for Imagelist,...!

No sé si lo he usado en BTNBMP, pero si he usado PNGs y JPGs en RCs sin problemas, y ahí debe funcionar igual

Uso hbPdf desde contrib de Harbour, para imprimir pdfs.

Me he topado con ALGUNOS jpgs que se imprimen totalmente distorsionados, otros jpgs salen bien.

Si los convierto primero a bmp y luego a jpg entonces si se imprimen bien.

¿ Se os ocurre algún motivo por el cual algunos jpgs se ...

In the first message you wrote that you were interested in copying text from prds. AFAIK, that cannot be done if the pdf is made of JPGs, unless you use some kind of OCR or so to do the conversion. Am I wrong?

That is outdated.
Present versions of FWH load jpgs from resources automatically without any specific coding by the programmer.

Now it is very simple and as simple as loading bitmaps from rc file.

Sample rc file

I used some jpg's which are not available in the fwh\samples folder. You may substitute with your own jpgs or other image files.

... by creating a windows service that monitors PDF files as they are dropped in a folder where the service invokes Ghostscript via a batch file with the proper commands where the resulting TIFF/JPGs can then be output to another folder that you application can watch for files as they are created.
