In my program would like to add a combo box near the scroll bar at bottom, in this way:

(I did it in GIMP)
But I don't found a way to resize the built in scrollbar or reduce the window client area...

I'm not sure if xImage or FREEIMAGE supports NEGATIV - painting.
There is another possible solution using GIMP as a commandline-tool ( script )

I think in case of black and white printing
You have to convert the images to NEGATIVE

You can use GIMP ( freeware )
select option < Colors > -> < Invert >

If you have an original un-retouched bitmap .. preferably .png .. you can send one to me and I can resample and resize in Gimp ( gimp.org ) and save it as a 24 bit alpha bitmap .. that may solve your render problem.

I use the SetDlgGradient() function .. and create wrappers ...

Tengo un dialog normal con un Bitmap incrustrado. Sobre este bmp, creado con GIMP, he puesto algunos gets (char y numerics). Ahora bien, el problema es el siguiente:

1- Teclas UP, DOWN trabajan bien.
2- TAB trabaja bien
3- CLICK del mouse para cambiar de get, NO FUNCIONA. No hace ...

Pixelformer is a good program .. I also use Gimp ( free open source ) which is as powerful as PhotoShop. I create all my alpha channel bitmaps with Gimp .. Just Open your Picture with Gimp and Open ( layers ) and you can drop any picture you want on your original, resize, crop, etc ...

I prefer to use the free version of Gimp which you can use much like Photo Shop and take your .png's and re-layer\re-size them and save them into various formats including .bmp.

... you like the better 32 bit resolution you have to reference the .bmp as an external File.

There are many free picture editors like PixelFormer and Gimp that can convert your images from one form to another and save them in varying bit resolutions.

I think GIMP includes a Function as well, to replace a defined Color with TRANSPARENT.
