All I asked is if tSwitch can now work with resources since Nages said elsewhere it couldn’t.

... the way you can with a DD. Files on a share can be deleted/stolen/corrupted by any user, either by accident or malice. Having orphan records is accepted as common as it is almost impossible to avoid it without integrity rules. The list goes on...

However, I don't think UNIONS are specific to ADS ...

Yes, that's the type of approach that I'm leaning towards. Some of the older case tools like Dbsee accepted comments for all of the components in its repository, and one could auto-generate documentation from those.
