For the most part I use Sql databases .. be it sql server, Oracle, or Ms Access using FW's ADO connection class to then manipulate the SQL data with regular FW controls, just modified with Rao's help who created many of the ADO classes using FW to make all Sql connections .. screens, xBrowse ...

Are you sure cFile contains the full path of the file you wish to delete ... cfile := "c:\mydata\main.exe" the ferase( cFIle ) should work.

I think every developer has his or her favorite database and I am in no way saying to use this database or not .. I still use .dbf\cdx to write my reports and build my temp databases .. I like dbf\cdx .. the take away for me is I use what I am comfortable with and .dbf is simple to for me to ...
