Improving Initial Interface

Hello,

I am looking to improve my initial main screen for my customers. Currently, I have a menu and buttonbar (with BMP images)


However, I would prefer to have something similar to the following web based application. Any ideas on how I can make this happen?

Look into WINDOWS 8 store – there are some very beautiful and useful interfaces - and look how the interfaces will look in the near future.
Touch.prg from the FIVEWIN samples has all the elements you need.

Which controls did you use, or only metro class ?
They look pretty good, good color combinations and simple design, I love it.
Can you post a small simple example of any of them, pleeeeeeeeease.
