One effective system for protecting data against ransomware is using an Offline Backup system.
Here's how it works:

Hola Antonio, ¿cómo haces tu copia de tus archivos? Estoy dándole vueltas a usar Blu-ray por ser un soporte de solo Lectura y así protegerme contra ransomware, además de los clásicos nube y disco duro externo. Muchas gracias y saluditos

For my general backup I use synogoly backup .and. Goodsync. The synology will power up, make the full backup and shut down. A System that is not powered can not be affected with ransomware. (I Hope So)
