Re: Strange characters going from FWH to Outlook FWH 13.10

Dear Michel,
I haven't conducted any direct speed measurements, but I've never noticed it being slow.
I think the code page must solve it similarly.
Best regards,
Otto

Re: Strange characters going from FWH to Outlook FWH 13.10

Otto,

Thanks for your suggestion.
But if I have to use this function to check every character in every string, isn't that slowing down my application?

Re: Strange characters going from FWH to Outlook FWH 13.10

Hello, Mr. Rao,

If I do the test you proposed with FWH 23.07 and with FWH 23.10, I get in both cases an alert with these 4 results:

EN
cp437
1252
850

Re: Strange characters going from FWH to Outlook FWH 13.10

Antonio, no solution yet? What changed from FWH 13.07 to 13.10? To my opinion it must be related to some changes in FWH 13.10.

Please wait a little.

Re: Strange characters going from FWH to Outlook FWH 13.10

Thank you for your suggestion. But I don't think that is a solution to my problem. Your suggestion replaces the characters with a sign by its normal character. Re: Strange characters going from FWH to Outlook FWH 13.10

This has nothing to do with ANSI/OEM issue even remotely.
This issue is about ANSI / UTF8.
We will get back to you soon.
