... exactly that what I need. i need the splitter not IN the mdichild, i need it WITH the mdichild. I would like to have my Outlook-Bar static in the mainwindow MDI. According to selection, the corresponding mdichild window is loaded then. Any ideas ?

Now I use STYLE nOr( WS_POPUP, WS_VISIBLE ) to show the window but i wanted create a window (child of mainwindow)
when I shrink the window or increase the window the procedure must repaint all the controls (lbx and buttons) :
