For small installations this might work ok. For larger systems you might have document imaging, Exchange server, web server, domain controller, etc. That is when you may need more of a virtual server environment where backups, power, and support spans more than a single application/server.

I understand that XBrowse ToExcel() is working well on non-english versions of Excel, but Report's ToExcel() is not working in such cases.
If you confirm this, I shall work on improving report's toexcel() method to work well on other language installations also the same as xbrowse's toExcel method.

Have you thought about using remote desktop.
We are changing our installations to remote desktop. I think this is the way to go.

Hi, I dont think this is a FiveWin problem, but I will ask the question here.. At one of my customers (who have 6 installations), my application gets slower and slower as they use it through the day - if they go out of the application and go back in the application runs at normal ...

One other point about Outlook. Unless you use Exc hange Server ( not usually found in smaller installations ), it is essentially single user. You can manually sync from one computer to another, but not live. Also Reinaldo is right on about the not linking to other data ...

We still use Gxreport for some of our old installations - so it's still alive (sort of)

... be faster in execution but difference in speeds may not be perceptible. Except in a very rare case like your installation, this works well on all installations of XP and above.
