Re: Create a Harbour language extension for Visual Studio IDE

Tim, Sinharavi candidate is only asking for 231 USD, so I see no risk at all to try it with him. We already have the funds to hire another developer too, in case that he fails. Yesterday another company from India made an offer and they were chatting with me, they look very professional ...

Re: Create a Harbour language extension for Visual Studio IDE

Antonio, When considering a contractor, please look at "Completion Rate" and "Would Hire Again" percentages. For example, the person you referenced had only an 83% completion rate ( meaning 1 of 6 projects were not completed ), and only 30% of the clients ...

Re: Create a Harbour language extension for Visual Studio IDE

Antonio,

Thanks for the idea.

And what do you think to hire them to create a Visual Report Designer, like EasyReport?.

They just do the IDE and save the invoice into an ini file or XML, and we retrieve it from FWH using TPrinterClass.

What do you think?.

Thanks :D

Re: Client Server options

A static cursor a new table based on the old table (or tables). It is not refreshed when the base table changes. What you want is a Dynamic cursor (remove the {static} clause). A Dynamic cursor is actually faster than a static cursor. The problem is that xBrowse requests the full result set every ti...
