I had thought about creating an array {100, 1000}, but hide columns that are not visible or are empty (and no subsequent rows or columns with data)
Then gradually add rows or columns if needed

Uwe, you paint an area that is too small. Try to paint an area of 1000 x 1000 and you will see the problem. I repeat what the problem is: I'd like to see the painted area gradually growing during the paint operation.

Illegal Character in DEF File Error
