Generally, when it is necessary to manage a device that connects via the USB port but responds to a serial structure, there are serial port emulators.
Here in Argentina, there are fiscal drivers that use that functionality, and they can be managed with Fivewin's COM port management functions.

We have a Die-Hard fan for Mac in our soccer group. We use a FWH with Maria DB online program, but I think that will not run on Mac.

Are there Win emulators or so on Mac to get it going ?

... the user point of view. It works invisible to the user :-) So for now (until we discover how easy or not is to install Houdini) we can't use those emulators for FiveTouch
