You might want to look a nClrText as well .. I have not had a chance to track it down and look in Wbrowse .. I wanted clr_white text on a clr_green background ..

nClrText seems to exibit the same row behavoir and does not seem to respect the cell designation.

James YES .. the cancel buton leaves the origional input in the get which is the same behavoir as ESC .. I can see that I need to re-work the end of my list box look ups and force a blank back to re-set the get and deal with the blank on the post form business rules ...

... be getting eval'd before the control looses focus and it should not loose focus until bValid returns .t. --at least this seems to be the correct behavoir to me. James
